We want your time aboard Miss Lotta to be memorable and fun! These policies are important in helping us to ensure you experience a safe and exceptional cruise.
Our climate-controlled, enclosed dining room ensures comfort in any weather. Guests who cancel or miss their reservation due to personal weather preferences are not eligible for refunds or rebooking.
In the rare event of extreme weather that present possible unsafe conditions, our Captains may be forced to cancel. If this happens, guests will be notified by email or phone at least two hours before scheduled departure. Should Lake Hopatcong Cruises need to cancel, ticket holders are offered a full refund or an opportunity to rebook for another similar cruise that season.
All Sales are Final with no refunds.
As we are near open water – it is imperative that children be supervised by a responsible adult at all times while aboard Miss Lotta and at Nolan’s Point. By law, children 12 and under must wear a USCG-approved life jacket when outside the indoor cabin. USCG-approved life jackets are available on board free of charge.
Like trains, ships and airplanes, Miss Lotta leaves promptly on her scheduled time and will not return to port for late arrivals. Customers who arrive after Miss Lotta has left will miss the cruise and not be entitled to a refund. With this in mind, we strongly suggest you plan your travel to our location carefully – ideally arriving to our site 30 minutes before departure time.
Smoking/vaping is prohibited on Miss Lotta and Nolan’s Point Boardwalk. Tampering with smoke detection equipment is prohibited by law and subject to fines.
Some cruises have specific age restrictions. Our staff will verify attendee ages at boarding and may refuse entry without refund if restrictions are not met. For 21+ cruises, a valid government-issued ID is required for proof of age.
Proper Dress is Required
Those arriving without footwear or not fully dressed in everyday attire will be denied boarding without a refund. Customers arriving in Swimwear, including bathing suits and cover-ups, will be denied boarding without a refund. Go to FAQs page for more information.
Guests are prohibited from bringing any outside food/beverage on board or onto Nolan’s Point Boardwalk. This includes, but is not limited to, alcoholic beverages, coolers, cakes, pastries, cookies, and cupcakes. We reserve the right to refuse large bags. Drinking alcoholic beverages anywhere on Nolan’s Point is strictly prohibited.
No Pets or Emotional Support Animals are allowed even if they are in a carrier.
Gum chewing is not allowed on board. Guests chewing gum will be asked to dispose of it properly.
